Taking Suggestions...

Although I've been off of work since December 24th, Chris didn't go back to work until this AM, so it's felt a lot like a holiday vacation. But now Chris is back at work... it's 9:24 Monday morning and I'm bored already... I've already had my morning cup of tea and a bowl of cherrios, checked my work email, my home email and facebook, cleaned my room and the master bath, washed the dishes and had about 20 meaningful conversations with the dog. (Just Simon... Marley's not too chatty today -- still pissed off that everybody thinks he was named after John Grogan's dog).

What, oh what, am I going to do with myself???? Everyone just keeps saying "Relax. Take it easy. Put your feet up!" Sorry, folks, it's not in my nature -- and if you've ever met my mother -- the energizer bunny -- you'd understand why.

My frustration is growing by the day and the Gerber Baby isn't due to arrive until the beginning of February. So, I'm now accepting suggestions on how to pass the time. Any and all suggestions are welcome...

  2. Carry,
I thought I'd keep an AWESOME scapbook for Lily, once she came--but once she came I had no time. Now she's two, and I only have her first six months of pics put into a photo album.

If you plan to do anything fancy for a scrapbook, maybe you can do it pre-emptively. Do the labels and layout now... "Coming home from the hospital," ""Look at me crawling!", "Prom--A Night to Remember." :)

I get the impression you're not super-cooking lady, but if you have any favorite dishes that can be frozen, now's the time to make a big batch, and divy it up into portions and freeze. You'll bearly have enough "get up and go" after the baby comes to construct a peanut butter & jelly sandwich (Nothing against PB&J, of course.)
